Our products are rooted in aromatherapy and ancient wisdom on natural healing, and also incorporate the best innovations in natural skincare.

All products are cruelty free and based on food-grade, high quality ingredients that are rich in antioxidants and soothing to the skin. We use gentle methods that preserve the integrity of the organic produce.

Kanobe is committed to 100% natural skincare and the entire range is free of synthetic ingredients and fragrances, making it particularly suitable for sensitive skin.

Kanobe sources ingredients from suppliers making a difference in their local communities - skilled artisans and local producers dedicated to preserving cultural practices and the natural ecosystems they work in.

A Passion Project

Kanobe is named in honour of my Isoko grandmother, Akanobe.

It is based in the melting pot of Brussels, where I incorporate the beauty secrets I have encountered during my travels across the range of clean, natural products.

As an antitrust lawyer often operating in a fast-paced environment, launching Kanobe was borne out of my interest in the rejuvenating power of nature. A student of aromatherapy, I formulate every Kanobe product to ensure quality and purity. Aromatherapy is uniquely able to uplift both our skin and our spirits, and I hope that my products can help those also looking for more balance and mindfulness in their daily routines.

My upbringing between the Nigerian metropolis of Lagos and Sweden makes sustainability and fair trade central to my vision for Kanobe. I'm passionate about sourcing from those often undercompensated in the supply chain, and launched the Kanobe Harvest Fund to help promote smallholder organic farming.

I'm infinitely inspired by the three generations of entrepreneurial women in my family, from my great grandmother to my own mother, Rita - each challenging the status quo in their own way and seeking to create a positive impact.

Sustainability

Kanobe uses organic produce, which is non-GMO and grown without harmful pesticides. All ingredients are 100% natural and biodegradable, making them gentle on both our skin and the planet. When preservatives are used, they are always plant-derived and COSMOS approved. In addition, fragrances are always natural, stemming from either the fresh ingredients, or certified organic essential oils and distilled absolutes of plants, seeds and flowers.

No single-use items are involved in the production process - for example, innovative, compostable gloves are used as part of the hygienic creation of Kanobe lotions, soaps and oil blends.

Kanobe products are provided in re-usable and recyclable glass bottles and jars, minimising the use of plastic. The sustainable packaging includes beautiful, FSC® certified beechwood accessories that are fully detachable for easy sorting and recycling. In addition, orders are always shipped in FSC® certified boxes and biodegradable, protective wood wool.
