These barriers keep smallholder farms and producers out of the global and organic ecosystem — often not because their practices fall short, but because organic certification in particular can favour scale.

The Kanobe Harvest Fund exists to combat these barriers, with a commitment of 10% of Kanobe's annual sales.

The fund sponsors education on organic farming, and we help farmers and producers navigate the exportation and certification process — drawing on our legal and regulatory expertise, as much as our funding.
