Kanobe is named in honour of my Isoko grandmother, Akanobe — a name that speaks of the realm beyond this physical world.
Based in the melting pot of Brussels, it is continuously inspired by craft, the meeting of cultures, and the rejuvenating power of nature. It was a natural home for Kanobe, given my own background as a Nigerian-Swede, raised in Lagos and shaped by years living across Europe.
A student of aromatherapy, I formulate each Kanobe product to target a specific mood and skin concern. Aromatherapy is uniquely able to nourish both our skin and our spirits, and I hope that these products can help those looking for more balance and mindfulness in their daily routines.
I'm infinitely inspired by the three generations of entrepreneurial women in my family, from my great grandmother to my own mother, Rita — each challenging the status quo in their own way and seeking to create a positive impact.

We're proud to have created a 100% biodegradable collection that minimises our use of plastics and single-use materials.
We source ingredients from suppliers making a difference in their local communities — skilled artisans and local producers dedicated to preserving cultural practices and the natural ecosystems they work in.
In Brussels, these rich ingredients are blended by hand, using gentle methods that preserve the integrity of the organic produce.
We use organic, non-GMO ingredients grown without harmful pesticides. When preservatives are used, they are always plant-derived and COSMOS approved.
Fragrances are all natural, stemming from fresh ingredients, essential oils and distilled absolutes of plants, seeds and flowers.
Kanobe is designed to be both gentle on the planet and our skin.
All our ingredients are fully biodegradable and no single-use items are involved in the production process.
Kanobe bodycare is packaged in re-usable and recyclable glass bottles and jars, minimising the use of plastic.
Our sustainable packaging includes beautiful, FSC® certified beechwood accessories that are fully detachable for easy sorting and recycling. Orders are also always shipped in FSC® certified boxes and biodegradable, protective wood wool.
