Grounded in the ancient art of aromatherapy, we create organic, holistic skincare for all seasons of life. Every ingredient is chosen with intention: textures and scents to uplift, restore, cleanse, and soothe.
We combine African beauty staples of rich heritage — like baobab, argan, shea, rose and frankincense — with high performing botanicals from around the world and the latest innovations in natural skincare.
These ingredients are rarely single-purpose, and are woven into daily rituals of skin and hair care, food, healing and even spirituality. We take a similar approach, crafting natural skincare that nourishes all of the senses.

We're proud to have created an organic range entirely free of synthetic ingredients. Every part of Kanobe has our impact in mind - from the artisans we source from, to our formulas and packaging.
OUR COMMITMENTS
We source ingredients from suppliers making a difference in their local communities - skilled artisans and local producers dedicated to preserving cultural practices and the natural ecosystems they work in.
In Brussels, these rich ingredients are blended by hand, using gentle methods that preserve the integrity of the organic produce.
We use organic, non-GMO ingredients grown without harmful pesticides. When preservatives are used, they are always plant-derived and COSMOS approved.
Fragrances are all natural, stemming from fresh ingredients, essential oils and distilled absolutes of plants, seeds and flowers.
Kanobe is designed to be both gentle on the planet and our skin.
All our ingredients are fully biodegradable and no single-use items are involved in the production process - for example, innovative, compostable gloves are used as part of the creation of Kanobe lotions, soaps and oil blends.
Kanobe bodycare is packaged in re-usable and recyclable glass bottles and jars, minimising the use of plastic.
Our sustainable packaging includes beautiful, FSC® certified beechwood accessories that are fully detachable for easy sorting and recycling. Orders are also always shipped in FSC® certified boxes and biodegradable, protective wood wool.
A Different Approach To Beauty
Kanobe is named in honour of my Isoko grandmother, Akanobe.
It was borne out of my discovery of the rejuvenating power of nature. A student of aromatherapy, I formulate each Kanobe product with ingredients that target a specific concern and capture a mood or feeling. Aromatherapy is uniquely able to nourish both our skin and our spirits, and I hope that these products can help those also looking for more balance and mindfulness in their daily routines.
Growing up between Lagos, Nigeria and Sweden makes sustainability and fair trade central to my vision for Kanobe. I'm passionate about sourcing from those often undercompensated in the supply chain, and recently launched created the Kanobe Harvest Fund to help promote smallholder organic farming.
I'm infinitely inspired by the three generations of entrepreneurial women in my family, from my great grandmother to my own mother, Rita - each challenging the status quo in their own way and seeking to create a positive impact.
